Lawrence A. Rogers, 74, died Wednesday, September 25.
He was born in Brookfield, on May 23, 1939, the son of the late Kenneth L. and Mary Louise (Ingalls) Rogers. On June 13, 1959 at Grace Church, Waterville, he married Jean Covey. The couple lived in Brookfield and Clinton for 54 years.
For many years, he owned Rogers Laundromat, Clinton and Turnpike Laundromat, New Hartford.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Rogers; daughter, Lisa Rogers; and son, Scott Rogers all of Clinton; sisters-in-law, Donna Cramer of New Hartford and Valerie Covey of Florida, brother-in-law, Neal and Antoinette Covey of New Hartford; nieces and nephews; Shane and Jennifer Covey, Reid and Beverly Covey, Erin Covey, Kari Covey, and their children. He also leaves a special uncle and aunt, William and Anne Ingalls, Ilion, as well as many Ingalls and Rogers cousins.
He is predeceased by his sister, Dawn Rogers.
