Jane Tector Reilly, 80, of Clinton, died on Aug. 17, 2012, at the family summer home in Inlet, N.Y.

She was born on May 21, 1932, to Alfred J. and Marie (Ogden) Tector and graduated from New Hartford High School 1949, where she was a on the swim team. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Rochester in 1953, worked at  St. Luke’s Hospital in Utica and at Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, and taught nursing at Mohawk Valley Community College. After moving to Inlet in 1988, she finished her career as the director of HASCA in Old Forge.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Dr. George Reilly, Clinton; children: Marijane Reilly (Joe Barry), Marietta, N.Y.; George Reilly (Nancy), Marcellus, N.Y.; James P. , Elmira; and Katie Reilly (Anthony Angotti), Marcellus, NY; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers Alfred Joy), River Hill, Wis, and John and Patricia, Fuquay Varina, N.C.; and brother- and sister-in-law, David and Deborah Reilly, North Stratford, N.H.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Clinton with burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Waterville. Donations may be cosidered to the American Heart Association. Heintz Funeral Home, Clinton. www.heintzfuneralservice.net
