Richard Lewis lines the soccer field at the Town Park on April 16. Lewis said the fields are still wet and soggy from melting snow and spring rain. Highway Supt. Jon Scott told Town Councilman Fred Lomanto that he recommended AYSO not use the new soccer fields at the Town Park right now due to poor field conditions. The AYSO soccer season starts on April 28 and teams are currently in search of a place to play.

Charles J. Kershner, who with his wife Cynthia turned an historic, but bankrupt weekly newspaper into an award-winning product, died on April 14, 2013. He was 70-years-old and lived in Clinton.
