Highlights from the October 3 issue

Example photo of housing units in the Buffalo area, that Chris Trevisani presented to the Town of Kirlkland Planning Board at the Sept. 24 meeting. Trevisani proposed to the board a plan to build 76 housing units near Lewis Road. According to Trevisani the units would look similar to the ones in Buffalo. The Board has advised Trevisani to look into possible sewer, water, and traffic issues before returning to the board for further discussion.

Highlights from the September 26 issue

The Kirkland Planning Board is considering two new applications for solar panel systems, one residential on Martin Road and other a commercial installation on Limberlost Road. The systems will be similar to the one at 3340 Post Street [above], which has been in operation for several years. The Planning Department reports a growing number of inquiries about solar panel installations.
