Gordon M. Hayes Sr., 92, of Clinton, who rose from bookkeeper to serve as president of the Hayes National Bank (now NBT Bank) for 25 years, died on July 24, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Highlights from the July 25 issue

Members of the Clinton Central High School lacrosse team attended the first Hamilton College girls lacrosse camp, directed by the college’s women’s head coach Patty Kloidt. Girls from as far as California attended the camp from July 11-14.
