Highlights from the April 10 issue

Flamingos and a Relay for Life sign placed in a yard on Utica Street. The birds and sign, along with papers explaining their purpose, are placed on peoples lawns after dark. Flamingos are removed the next night and placed on another lawn. This is being done in an effort to raise money for Team Edwards Ambulance Relay for Life Team.

Mother Nature played a delayed April Fool’s joke on the area by dumping 5 + inches of snow during the waning hours of April 1.
